NFL teams don’t need to see any of Clowney’s “Workout Stats”, just put this up on the monitors and watch it 100 times. Any questions? Clowney is like the Clubber Lang of NFL Draft prospects, I expect him to go up to his opponents’ girlfriends and say “Ay woman! Why don’t  you come to my apartment and i’ll show you a real man” and the women would actually go. There is no such thing as a sure fired draft pick, but Clowney would be the 1st pick in this year’s draft and it even wouldn’t be much of a discussion. I think he should sit out next year, no need to risk injury, but he will play and all SEC quarterbacks and running backs have been warned. ESPN’s Tom Rinaldi reported that #SouthCarolina DE Jadeveon Clowney ran a 4.5 40 at 270 pounds during the Gamecocks’ recent winter workouts. — Evan Silva (@evansilva) March 5, 2013

Clowney on Gamecocks' spring guide cover

South Carolina’s best player is Jadeveon Clowney. The best moment from South Carolina’s season was Clowney almost killing Michigan running back Vincent Smith in the Outback Bowl. So it only makes sense that South Carolina is using its best player and the best moment as the cover for their spring guide. And just in case you don’t remember what South Carolina’s best player...

South Carolina, Clowney back on field

South Carolina star Jadeveon Clowney has returned to the football field for spring workouts after an offseason of questions about whether the defensive end should play this fall and risk being injured. Several NFL analysts say the 6-foot-6, 256-pound sophomore would be the first pick in this year's draft if he were eligible to turn pro. But Tuesday Clowney participated in drills...

Sitting out never crossed Clowney’s mind

Everybody has enjoyed talking about whether or not Jadeveon Clowney should have challenged the NFL rule that mandates a player must be three years removed from high school in order to be eligible for play. Jadeveon Clowney is a man among boys.
