2012 in review: To their credit, the Eagles were only blown out by FSU and Clemson, so the team hung tough despite mounting losses that eventually cost Frank Spaziani his job. The only wins were over FCS member Maine and a Maryland team that fell apart in the second half of the season. The Eagles just couldnt score points. Their highest total over the final seven games came in a 30-23 overtime loss to Virginia Tech, as Boston College dropped its final four contests.
Biggest hole to fill: How do you replace a guy who registered 53 more tackles than anyone else on the roster? Thats what new BC coach Steve Addazio must do. The previous staff had to replace Luke Kuechly, who was the ninth pick taken in last Aprils NFL draft, and Nick Clancy stepped up.
