Blame these on former Vols' defensive backs coach Mack Garza, who paid for a recruit's unofficial visit to the University of Tennessee campus back in 2009, then lied to the NCAA about it. .
"On Friday, the NCAA announced that additional penalties had been levied
against Tennessee's football program stemming from a major infractions
case involving former assistant coach Willie Mack Garza, who was on
Kiffin’s staff at Tennessee during the 2009 season.
The additional penalties include a two-year addition of the
probation levied during the 2011 infractions case, a reduction in the
