Kevin Sumlin and the Texas A&M Football team picked up their second commitment of the 2014 recruiting class Thursday when Gilmer LB Josh Walker gave his verbal pledge to the Aggies.

Walker is a 6’1″ 220 lb junior outside linebacker who also plays some running back for the Buckeyes. As a sophomore, he was the district newcomer of the year with 130 tackles, nine sacks, four forced fumbles and an interception.
According to an interview Walker did with Brice Jones of TexAgs.com, he has tallied 54 tackles with five sacks and three forced fumbles through seven games of his junior season.
He has also scored four times on the ground with two receiving touchdowns from the running back spot.
Walker is the second commitment of the 2014 class to go along with cornerback Cedric Collins from Dallas Skyline. He chose the Aggies over offers from Oklahoma, Texas and Texas Tech.
