This Saturday at 8 p.m. EST, the Texas A&M Aggies will take on the SMU Mustangs at Kyle Field. A&M has the clear upperhand in the history of these two schools with an all time record of 42-29-7. Last year, with Manziel at the helm, the Aggies snubbed the Mustangs 48-3.The Mustangs are coming off of a bye week as they head into Kyle field, and allowed 378 yards to the lowly Montana State Bobcats in their last game. Their first game of the season was a 41-23 loss to the Texas Tech Red Raiders. The lone bright spot fo the Mustangs coming into this game is quarterback Garrett Gilbert. You probably recognize that name, as he is the Texas Longhorns' former QB. In the Horns' most recent trip to the National Championship, Gilbert put up a respectable fight against Alabama. He is generally considered one of the better QB at the college level, and may even find his way to the NFL in the near future. In his first two games this, Gilbert has thrown for 700 yards thanks in large part to teammates Jeremy Johnson and Darius Joseph.Jeremy Johnson has reeled in 19 receptions for 243 yards this season, for an average of 12.8 yard per catch. Darius Joseph is not far behind with 23 receptions for 216 yards. With an incredibly unimpressive running game (Gilbert leads all Mustangs rushers with 88 yards on the season) the passing attack will be instrumental in creating any shred of hope for the Mustangs in this game.As you well know, the Aggies have one of the most talented players in the nation in Johnny Manziel. If not for some miscommunications that led to mistakes in A&M's loss to Alabama last week, Manziel would have looked like a giant killer. The Mustangs have very little chance of slowing him or Mike Evans, or any other member of the A&M offense down this Saturday. The Aggies should come out way on top in what should be a high-scoring affairTexas A&M Aggies football tickets earned a reputation for being expensive after last week's game pulled in an average price of $760 per ticket. You can get tickets to this game for a much more comfortable average price of $86.70.
