Texas tailgaters have been spotted today wearing "Saban 2014" shirts as they prepare to host Kansas State tonight. @darrenrovell #Texas getting ahead of their self. #NotSoFast #CollegeFootball #RollTide pic.twitter.com/FPnmJuA692 -- @BAMABOSS1984 (@BAMABOSS1984) September 21, 2013 There also exists Saban2014.com, which is exactly what it sounds like. This is a reaction to an Associated Press report earlier this week that Texas regents and Alabama coach Nick Saban's agent spoke over the winter about what interest Saban may have in the UT job, should coach Mack Brown retire. Brown has not retired, of course, and Saban, 61, said this week he's too old to start over at a new program. But with the Longhorns (1-2) struggling, particularly on defense, it appears more likely by the week that Texas will be seeking a new football coach this offseason. Texas fans are obviously aiming high.

Well, Alabama Crimson Tide fans. It’s time for you to get angry and laugh at Texas Longhorn fans. Since Mack Brown is on the hot seat, people actually think Nick Saban will go to Texas. Buzz: Saban to Texas? You never know

I'd hate to insult anybody's intelligence by stating the obvious, but if you're a college football coach (namely Mack Brown), and your regents are talking, on the record , with The Associated Press, about how maybe you should think about retirement and, oh yeah, we've been talking to someone else . . . Well that's, uh, probably not a good sign for you. And,...
