Oklahoma State’s Cowboys and their fans are ready for Texas, whether the NCAA or whoever has banned the noise making paddles once the ball has been snapped or not.

Here are my three bold predictions and yes, they all include OSU winning.

It’s not just because I am Okie State Alum, it’s because OSU has prepared for this game.

1. Texas has a lot to learn on the road.

Although the Longhorns have gotten off to a 3-0 start, coach Mack Brown has some learning to do and some things to teach his young quarterback David Ash.

Their first big showdown on the Big 12 stage; don’t forget coach Gundy has built a team here and history has shown the Cowboys don’t hold back when it comes to defending their home field.

Sorry UT, this one is going to tie the games 3-1, 3-1. BOLD PREDICTION: POKES WIN.

2. Everyone is thinking that now Wes Lunt went down, that Oklahoma State doesn’t have a chance.  Wrong.  Texas is having a hard time stopping the run so OSU’s backup will not have to put a ton of balls in the air to get on top of Texas. The trick will be staying on top. BOLD PREDICTION: BOYS WIN.

3. Texas’ star defense collapses. Alex Okafor and Jackson Jeffcoat think that they are prepared and with over a week to do so they are combing the past history of Oklahoma State’s early leads and fall apart late quarters to run over the young offense but make no mistakes.

I mean OSU has prepared to make no mistakes, they have lost Weeden and Blackmon to the NFL and now Lunt is out but coach Mike Gundy is a pro and he has prepared this OSU offense to go in hard on the running game. OH YEAH, BOLD PREDICTION: OKLAHOMA STATE WINS!!
