With favorable matchups and considering their returning players, the 2013 Miami Hurricanes could have their best season since 2002. Here's why!Home Game Against The Florida GatorsThis matchup is just what a program with a great history needs on their schedule. With the Florida Gators offense in question, a confidence builder could be in the Hurricanes' future. The Gators are ranked No. 10 in the country going into the 2013 season, but quarterback Jeff Driskel might not be back in time for this in-state rivalry game. QB Tyler Murphy could be the starter instead of Driskel; that causes a little confusion with the offenses' setup. Murphy is a duel threat, while Driskel is a pocket type passer with no mobility. The Hurricanes will take this game away from the Gators:The Gators not returning anybody at linebacker, defensive tackle or at safety.Dominique Easley and Jaylen Watkins are their only true returning leaders on defense.  A redshirt freshman at kicker for the Gators. The Miami Hurricanes will run the ball down Florida's throat.Duke JohnsonDuke Johnson rushed for 947 yards with 10 TDs and 221 yards receiving. Adding his return yardage to the mix, Johnson totaled over 2,000 yards in all purpose yardage in 2012. At 5'9 almost 200 pounds, Johnson is a low to the ground stout back. With the entire offensive line returning, Duke Johnson is my surprise front-runner for the Heisman Trophy.Stephen MorrisStephen Morris passed for over 3,300 yards, 21 TDs, and was mistake free in the last four games of the season. The biggest plus for Morris will be the depth at wide receiver. With Phillip Dorsett at 4.36 in the 40-yard dash and Rashawn Scott at 4.5, both will lead the way with speed. With Morris coming back, he will bring leadership at the quarterback position and help with balance on offense.A Defense With Some ExperienceIn 2012, the Miami Hurricane defense put an enormous amount of pressure on the offense to score points.Head coach Al Golden played all the kids that he could on defense. This was detrimental to the team, last season, while the playing experience will pay off this year. The Schedule Is WinnableWith Clemson not on the Canes' 2013 schedule, this opens the door for a pinnacle matchup against Florida State in Tallahassee. If Miami could pull off the unthinkable against FSU, those days of the FSU-Miami game being a marquee matchup could be revisited. Pittsburgh, Duke, Virginia, Wake Forest, and Georgia Tech could all be easy wins for the Canes.Final Prediction: A matchup between Clemson and Miami in Charlotte, North Carolina for the ACC title.Sweetheart's Stuff   Miami Vice, Tony Montana and CSI were the only things hot, humid, and happening in Miami. Thanks, Stuart, for wasting another five minutes of my precious life on an insignificant article about a state that should just sink into the ocean already.Sincerely Disappointed,Sweetheart
