I of course have no line to the inner-workings of the mind of the now former Oregon Ducks head coach, but if I was told that that this is going to be the latest in a long line of  fashion forward uniform changes for my team I think I would be tempted to call it quits. Of course it helps to have the fat contract with the Philadelphia Eagles waiting... In a way, I get it. The Ducks are in a unique position due to their relationship with Nike. The marketing aspect is genius; the merchandising even better. Personally I find all the different helmets, jerseys and color combinations a little annoying, but I'm not a fan or alumni of the school so it doesn't mean a whole lot to me. Now if Texas A&M were to ever consider doing something like that... As I look at this helmet and reflect back on the many uniforms of the Oregon Ducks I'm a little nervous about what might be next for the proud program. Could we see them as part of one of those designer reality shows ...
