The biggest question this time of the year is “Who is going first overall?”  and in past drafts there have been answers of an obvious quarterback that will step into a franchise role; but this year has no clear-cut answer. There are three big names in the quarterback pool that have a chance to be the first QB off the board: Geno Smith-West Virginia, Mike Glennon- NC State and Matt Barkley- USC. All three have great potential but all are big risks with a first round pick. Geno Smith has the athletic ability that mimics Cam Newton and RGIII and with their big splash into the NFL, why wouldn’t you draft him. Mike Glennon can make all the throws of an NFL quarterback and the ideal intelligence but lacks the fundamentals of being a starting QB like stepping into throws and pocket awareness. Matt Barkley was expected to be the first overall pick looking into the draft from last year but has dropped multiple picks because of his injury, inconsistent play and mediocre size for a NFL QB but ...
