Tennessee junior quarterback Tyler Bray was caught in the middle of a “boys behaving badly” act and is now paying for it. As the Knoxville News Sentinel reports, Bray and his roommate, Michael C. Grandinetti, were caught vandalizing a car in their apartment complex. The two cracked the windshield and dented the top of 22-year-old Bradi Hudson’s car sometime between last Friday night and Saturday morning. Hudson didn’t catch them in the act, but a note on her car’s windshield apparently came from a witness who saw what happened. 21-year-old Kirstie Allen told Hudson that Bray and his roommate threw golf balls and beer bottles at the car from their balcony. On Monday, Allen says the windshield of her car was smashed when she was home to eat lunch. Allen says she was told by an apartment manager that Bray and Grandinetti had been evicted, and she believed the broken windshield was retaliation for her ratting on them. Bray is not being charged for vandalizing Hudson’s car and will pay...

College Football: Tennessee QB Tyler Bray Ain’t Making it Easy for His Vols

WKRN, Nashville News, Nashville Weather and Sports not happen in the As a Georgia Bulldog fan, I’m not going to say much about what did or did not happen to starting QB, Tyler Bray—I don’t need a slew of “pot meet kettle” comments thrown in my direction. However, I will say that whatever did go down, his head coach certainly doesn’t need the negative publicity at this...

Tyler Bray allegedly throws beer bottles off balcony, damages vehicle windshield.

Mark Richt Derek Dooley has lost control of Tyler Bray.  The Tennessee star quarterback and his roommate have been implicated in one (and possibly two) incidents of damaging vehicles in their apartment complex. Derek Dooley comments on Tyler Bray's bottle-throwing debacle, criticizes Bray's accuracy.

You think Dooley was mad at Bray then... Poor Derek Dooley. One week ago the Tennessee head football coach was praising the growing maturity of his star quarterback Tyler Bray at SEC Media Days. Now, His Hairness has to defend Bray after the "mature" QB was allegedly caught throwing beer bottles off his apartment balcony and damaging one (and may two) neighbors'...

Tennessee coach Derek Dooley made the following comment to the press about his beer bottle throwing quarterback Tyler Bray. “He’s made some progress in a lot of areas, but that’s just silly behavior,” the Vols coach said Thursday night at the 46th annual UT All-Sports Picnic at Lipscomb’s Allen Arena. “Any time we get a little negative publicity for our program...

#39 Tennessee Volunteers: College Football 77 in 77

Is there any team in the country that benefits more from a more doable schedule than the Tennessee Volunteers? Not that their SEC schedule is forgiving, but this year they get Miss St. and Mizzou instead of LSU and Alabama. That’s right the toughest two teams in all of college football are replaced by one mediocre and one decent team. Now if only the Vols can establish the run...

Tyler Bray Carrying On A Tennessee Tradition

Yesterday, Tyler Bray turned a pretty boring Wednesday afternoon in July into one that will be referenced many a time during the upcoming season.  Bray and his roommate were accused of throwing beer bottles and golf balls off their apartment balcony onto cars in the apartment complex parking lot.  One car took the brunt of most of throwing, as its windshield was cracked and the...

Tennessee has an MMA cage but was forced to call it a “Tumbling Area”

According to Wes Rucker, the Tennessee Volunteers have an MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) cage in their athletic complex. They can’t refer to it as an “MMA cage” though. They have to call it a “Tumbling Area” due to some NCAA no combat rule. This seems like another stupid NCAA rule that won’t change anything. College kids will still be performing MMA matches despite the nomenclature...
