Kissing Suzy Kolber:
At one point, former LSU cornerback Tyrann Mathieu was graded as a potential first-round pick in the NFL. Then came a little thing called drug tests. But the man known as Honey Badger remains hopeful, perhaps defiantly so, that he will be taken Thursday night. He’s so confident that he has listed himself as a first-round pick on invites to a post-draft party that he is throwing Thursday evening. Doesn’t bode well for the mood of the party. I’m not too worried, though. Chances are there will be more than enough weed to keep the vibe from getting too down. Oh man, I hope Pacman got an invite.

HONEY BADGER BASH
Someone might need to have a talk with former LSU defensive back Tyrann Mathieu about priorities but to be honest that talk should have been had long before this. According to the Honey Badger’s twitter page, he is hosting a party before the draft for the “first round pick” in the upcoming 2013 NFL Draft. https://twitter.com/Mathieu_Era/status/327048280347394048
It was already a bad enough idea for Tyrann Mathieu to host an NFL Draft party. When you have a reputation for having off-field problems that include a past marijuana addiction, being a party guy is not the image you wan’t to portray. But it’s also questionable when the flyer bills you as a “1st Round Draft Pick.”
Mathieu posted a picture to Instagram Wednesday of a flyer...
As we are less than a day away from the 2013 NFL Draft, former LSU safety Tyrann Mathieu is one of the college football prospects hoping to have his name called.
Mathieu will be in New York City before the start of the draft and it appears that he will be throwing a party before the start of the draft.
Check out the ad for the party which will be held at S&L night club...
Matt Maiocco of the CSN Bay Area mentions that LSU CB Tyrann Mathieu a “definite possibility” for the 49ers at some point on day two.
Maiocco adds that San Francisco is unlikely to use their No. 34 overall pick on him.
Mike Jurecki tweets that the Cardinals could consider Mathieu at some point today with intention of using him at safety & corner in certain packages...
According to Albert Breer of the NFL Network, LSU cornerback Tyrann Mathieu passed his drug test at the NFL Scouting Combine back in February.
Fairly significant development for him personally — ex-LSU CB Tyrann Mathieu did indeed pass his combine drug test.

We don’t know how well Mathieu will do down the road, but this is a great...
Former LSU defensive back Tyrann Mathieu, aka the Honey Badger, must know something that the rest of us do not. How else can you explain why the man is holding a Draft Day party on Thursday?
Now had he played last season and all his troubles not come to light no one would think a thing about it. Assuming he would have played like he did two seasons ago he likely would...
Les Miles wants change to come to the cross-division format of the SEC schedule in which each team is assigned a permanent opponent from the other division. Making a disturbing amount of sense, Miles said, "A key piece for any conference is to allow equal access for any champion."
Miles' push for change is the result of the 2013 schedule, which calls for LSU to...
Former LSU star Tyrann “Honey Badger” Mathieu, has always thought pretty highly of himself. Even after getting kicked off the LSU football team for “violation of team rules” and spending time in a drug rehab facility, he’s holding a draft party. I wonder where this kid is getting the money to pay for this party? And what a perfect place for a recovering drug addict...
PICK: Eric Reid, S, LSU
ANALYSIS: I know San Francisco was going to trade up for someone, but why Reid? I know there's been a lot of buzz around him lately (mostly with the Bengals), but I just don't see him as a first round prospect. I think San Francisco could have stayed put and taken a better safety like Matt Elam. He fills a big need, but I just can't understand...
Honey Badger is bad!
LSU cornerback Tyrann Mathieu was one of the most electric players in the NCAA. As a sophomore, Mathieu (affectionately called “Honey Badger”) was a consensus All-American. He was the defensive player of the year in the SEC. And he won the Chuck Bednarik Award, given by the Maxwell Football Club to the kid deemed be the best defensive player in NCAA Division...
Following Saturday's spring game, TSD's Taylor Halsey caught up with three Tigers - WR Odell Beckham, DT Ego Ferguson and QB Zach Mettenberger - to get their take on how LSU progressed this spring.
The 49ers traded up to No. 18 overall to address perhaps their biggest need, adding LSU safety Eric Reid.
So, the NFL Draft is a day away (Thu.) and everyone who's ever written a sports related story or talked about it on the radio has come up with their own "Mock Draft".
We don't partake in such trivial matters here at OSG Sports, but we do find some of the speculation absolutely fascinating.
Kind of like the picture you see to your...
