University of Miami quarterback Stephen Morris as named to the Davey O'Brien Award watch list, the foundation announced Wednesday. Morris, a senior, is one of 34 quarterbacks on the watch list for the award given to college football's top quarterback, joining fellow ACC players Tajh Boyd of Clemson, Bryn Renner of North Carolina and Logan Thomas of Virginia Tech. Morris, who was also named to the watch list for the Maxwell Award (given to the college player of the year) started all 12 games for the Hurricanes in 2012, throwing for 3,345 and 21 touchdowns.
