Case Keenum always has the right perspective. So rather than displaying annoyance with not being drafted, Keenum is taking delight in the fact that he's getting his shot in the NFL and getting it with the team he fantasized about joining.
The Texans will sign Keenum, the former University of Houston star and college football's all-time leading passer, as an undrafted free agent.
"It still hasn't hit me," said Keenum Monday at UH. "I haven't even signed my contract yet. I'm just excited that I get a chance to go play in the NFL. It's pretty cool that it's coming true. I said before the draft that all I need is one chance and I got my one chance here with a great organization, great coaches."
