Florida Gators tight end Jordan Reed was headed for a touchdown when Georgia’s Jarvis Jones knocked the ball out of Reed's hands with just 2:09 left in the game. Reed left his feet near the five yard line. Jones came from behind and stripped the ball out of Reed's arms and into the end zone where the Bulldogs recovered.

Jordan Reed fumbled by goal line and appeared to cry on Florida’s bench

Florida lost to Georgia 17-9 in Jacksonville on Saturday for their first defeat of the season, and perhaps nobody was more heartbroken about the loss than Jordan Reed. The junior tight end led the Gators with five catches for 74 yards, but he had one costly mistake at the end of the game. Reed caught a pass from Jeff Driskel on second-and-six with 2:22 left in the game. He broke...

Georgia Bulldogs 17 – Florida Gators 9; Jordan Reed, Hold Your Head Up

Jordan Reed came to the Florida Gators in 2009 out of New London, CT. He was recruited as a quarterback and was considered one of the better dual-threat QBs in the nation. There weren’t many out there that expected him to stay at the position, but he would…at first. Reed redshirted in 2009–his first season on campus. In 2010–as the Gators would look nearly everywhere for...

The most awkward post game handshake between Mark Richt and Will Muschamp

In the aftermath of the Florida Gator – Georgia Bulldog game in Jacksonville, there was a moment of awkwardness in the post game handshake between Will Muschamp and Mark Richt. I did not speed this clip up at all and this is in real time. That was probably a 1 second “handshake.” Mark Richt didn’t look happy and Will Muschamp never looks happy. Jordan Reed fumbled on the...

Georgia Bulldogs: I Could Not Resist…

I know it’s so wrong to rub it in, especially when the Gators can still win the East with a Georgia loss, but I couldn’t resist creating this little photo after I saw Jordan Reed crying on the sidelines. Wrong? Probably. But, so was that little ad the Gators placed in the paper last week. All is fair in love and SEC fandom.

Georgia Opens Up SEC and National Championship races with wild 17-9 win against Florida

Georgia’s 17-9 win over Florida wasn’t pretty, and it might not have happened if not for a wild play in the final few minutes to seal the win. But the Bulldogs did in fact seal the victory Saturday, their second straight over Florida. In the process, they may have blown open the SEC Championship and BCS title races as well. College football fans, welcome to pandemonium...

Gators' perfect season undone by imperfections

Florida quarterback Jeff Driskel delivered the pass to tight end Jordan Reed and watched him work his way toward the goal line, moving closer to giving the Gators a chance at catching Georgia late in the fourth quarter. What followed felt like a replay of the entire game Saturday. Another fumble. Another lost opportunity. A season that had gone so perfectly came undone with so...

Georgia Takes The Cocktail Party

((HT: CBSSports/SEC)) Oh, sorry... We're not supposed to call it that anymore... You can look at this game in a few different ways... Either it was great defensively, or just downright sloppy... The game had nine turnovers- six by Florida (on a side note, the HQ would LOVZE to hear what the Coach Boom lecture was after the game...) including a last-minute strip of...

The No. 10 Georgia Bulldogs and No. 2 Florida Gators met up once again in Jacksonville, FL at the “World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party”. The game itself was anything but a party, in fact, it was actually more of a well, dog fight considering what was at stake. Florida was playing for a spot in the SEC championship game. Georgia, on the other hand, was playing for the opportunity...
