LSU head coach Les Miles has always been candid with the media, and he’s been no different leading up to tonight’s first round of the NFL Draft. Yesterday, Miles did a segment on the CBS Sports Network to offer up some analysis on a few former SEC players – Johnny Manziel, AJ McCarron, Aaron Murray and Jadeveon Clowney. He had some very interesting words to say about each.
In short, Miles believes that Manziel will need to learn to beat people with his arm, McCarron will have to shake the game manager label, Murray lacks physical tools but makes good decisions and Clowney has the ability to be a star if he wants it enough. Of course, Miles says all of this in a charming way that doesn’t seem quite as negative.
