The Oklahoma Sooners are looking to rebound from an embarrassing loss to Baylor last Thursday, and they are hosting Iowa State in a game that former coach Barry Switzer already views as a done deal. Switzer clearly isn’t impressed with the Cyclones 1-8 record to start the season.
Maybe it’s their penchant for turnovers that he doesn’t respect either. Today, ISU quarterback Grant Rohach has already thrown a pick, although it took a pretty lucky bounce for Oklahoma to make it happen. Sooners defensive back Stanvon Taylor managed to get a hand on an underthrown ball by Rohach, enough to tip it to teammate Quentin Hayes for the interception. Here’s video, via @PlannedSickDays:
Despite forcing the early turnover, the Sooners trail 7-0 in the second quarter.

And it's safe to say things didn't end well for the courageous individual.Watch as the unsuspecting fan gets blindsided by a state trooper, who delivers such a pummeling hit, that Bob Stoops may want to check to see if the trooper still has eligibility left.Good times.Via Deadspin
Oklahoma women's coach Sherri Coale saw a lot of positives after her team's tough overtime loss to Louisville.
The 11th-ranked Sooners had their chances, just couldn't pull off the victory against the fifth-ranked Cardinals, falling 97-92 in overtime on Sunday night in the preseason WNIT championship game.
''I am really proud of our team,'' Coale said...

A streaker was tackled by a police officer during the Oklahoma Sooners' blowout win over the Iowa State Cyclones. He got absolutely leveled.
