Suspended Michigan senior cornerback J.T. Floyd had released a statement apologizing for his recent suspension from the Jan. 1, 2013 Outback Bowl. The suspension, for the ever-vague "violation of team rules" effectively ends his college football career.
Part of the apology includes the following:

Michigan to Wear Special Unis/Helmets for the Outback Bowl
Here they are.
Can't say I love the unis. Actually not at all. Maize numbers are an interesting choice. Looks to me like the maize's don't all match up. I've been waiting for the day when Michigan would attempt a matte helmet. It's not bad. At least the maize isn't chromey like MSU's green or OSU's red when they played us.
