Last week, Tennessee beat South Alabama by just one touchdown. This Saturday, the Vols almost pulled off the upset of the week against No. 6 Georgia, but fell just short after running back Pig Howard fumbled the ball into the end zone for a touchback, setting Georgia up for the game-winning field goal. It’s hard to fault Howard for the fumble — he was trying to stretch the ball across the goal line for the score. Unfortunately, the mistake cost Tennessee a very well-fought game. Here’s a video of the play: Georgia’s title hopes are still alive.
