Tennessee has benched quarterback Justin Worley after three games, giving Nathan Peterman his first career start. The Volunteers (2-1) announced the move about two hours before Saturday's kickoff at No. 19 Florida. Peterman, a 6-foot-2 redshirt freshman from nearby Jacksonville, should give the Volunteers more versatility against the Gators (1-1). He has completed 6 of 12 passes for 40 yards this season, but he also has scrambling ability. Worley, a junior from Rock Hill, S.C., completed 35 of 57 passes for 372 yards, with five touchdowns and an interception in three starts this season. He completed 13 of 25 passes for 126 yards, including a 51-yarder, in last week's 59-14 loss at No. 2 Oregon. Worley also started three games last season.

Tennessee runs a trick play in which their offensive linemen don’t block. On purpose.

The Tennessee Volunteers ran a very strange trick play on Saturday in which none of their offensive linemen moved after the snap. The play failed miserably, as Florida’s defensive players not only just blow by the static linemen and lay a big hit on the Vols QB, but Tennessee was also flagged for offensive pass interference on the play. I think it’s safe to say that’s the last...

There is a certain kind of hate that is reserved for Alabama for Tennessee fans, and a certain kind of hate that is reserved for Georgia for Florida fans, but when the Gators and the Volunteers meet in late September, hate doesn’t even begin to describe the intensity of this classic southern rivalry. Both teams are walking wounded coming into this game. Last week, the Vols suffered...

Tennessee drops 9th straight vs. Florida, 31-17

Tennessee will have to wait another year for a shot at Southeastern Conference rival Florida.
