(Baton Rouge, LA) - Alfred Blue's explosive runs were too tough for Washington to handle and the rest of LSU's running backs made it a really long night for the overmatched Huskies. Blue rushed for 101 yards, including a 21-yard score, and No. 3 LSU racked up 242 yards on the ground in a 41-3 victory over Washington on Saturday night.

LSU dismissed its starting corner back, Tyrann Mathieu, from its football team on August 10th, for a violation of team and school rules. Mathieu then enrolled in a Houston rehab center in lieu of transferring to another school.
Mathieu was not kicked out of LSU and has since re-enrolled at the school. The Honey Badger was spotted in class a few days ago and then at LSU’s game...
Former LSU safety Chad Jones is working to get back to the NFL. Jones was drafted in the 3rd round by the New York Giants, but tragically saw his chances of playing in the NFL diminish after he was involved in a horrific accident in New Orleans. Jones’ tire caught on one of the trolley tracks that run parallel with the road and whipped into a pole that didn’t have any give...
BACK TO SCHOOL
And here you figured Honey Badger wasn’t really going to enroll in class at LSU and actually attend class. Wrong (at least for the first week.) Here is the legendary weed toker getting comfortable in his element. Notice the level of preparation: notebook, ink pen, surfing the Internet. Will the Honey Badger just run and hide at some FCS school just to play football? Absolutely...
After watching No. 3 LSU wallop his Huskies by 38 points, Washington coach Steve Sarkisian lamented that the ''complexion'' of the game could have been different if his team hadn't narrowly missed some early opportunities.
Meanwhile, LSU's Les Miles was outside the home locker room, citing a handful of dropped passes - one in the end zone - and dropped interception...
The LSU Tigers are currently up 34-3 in the 3rd quarter and it doesn’t appear they are slowing down. Running back Spencer Ware has had a great game after being a no-show last week due to a thigh injury.

Well now, that feels better doesn't it? A week ago, we saw a ho-hum performance against North Texas where LSU's team looked like it was merely going through the motions for the majority of the game. We were left with a lot of questions and even a few concerns. The season ending injury to Chris Faulk during the week only added to those concerns...
As the University of Washington is set to face 3rd ranked LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge on Saturday, it appears that Washington head coach Steve Sarkisian decided he needed something to motivate his players.
Back on Tuesday, coach Sark brought an actual caged tiger to practice and kept it on the sidelines for the players to look at.
The below photo shows the coach starring it down...
