On the final day of this portal window, one more WVU football player decided to transfer. Wide receiver Graeson Malashevich entered the transfer portal on Wednesday, according to reports like one from Mike Ferrell.

Malashevich leaves West Virginia after appearing 42 games for WVU, granted mostly on special teams as a holder for kicks.

The redshirt senior and West Virginia native has been with the WVU football program since 2020. He made only one catch for 30 yards as a receiver throughout four seasons in Morgantown.

Malashevich’s impact extended beyond anything he could contribute on the field. Traylon Ray called him the leader of the wide receiver room recently during spring practice.
