Tennessee's Cordarrelle Patterson could very well fit this mold. Watching tape of the Tennessee product, there is no denying his explosiveness once the ball is in his hands, however, wasn't this the same conclusion of former Ohio State Buckeye Ted Ginn Jr.? Patterson consistently is a body catcher, and unnecessarily uses that as a safety blanket for catching the ball over the middle. Let's take a gander at Patterson's career at Tennessee, which is 12 games all together. 6 catches for 93 yards against the very burnable David Amerson at N.C State. 8 catches for 75 yards against an extremely porous Florida secondary, filled with freshman. 9 catches for 219 yards against Troy, congratulations Cordarrelle, that most definitely proves your value. And finally, 4 catches for 88 yards against Kentucky, who have produced 2 NFL defensive backs in the last deca...
