With four running backs currently sidelined with injuries, freshman Brandon Wilds will likely get his first career start next Saturday when South Carolina travels to Knoxville to take on the Tennessee Volunteers.

Until last Saturday, Brandon Wilds was a nondescript true freshman tailback for South Carolina, a 6-2, 225-pound three-star prospect from Blythewood (S.C.) High. He had just eight carries for 68 yards in the Gamecocks' first six games. No he's the starter.
