I hope you've enjoyed our journey through the land of cheese, beer, brats, and the Wisconsin Badgers! After a week of talk of the Badgers it's finally time to put up or shut up for our staff as we hand down our verdicts on what will happen in Madison this year.

So, drum roll please...... Here are our staff predictions for the 2013 Wisconsin Badgers:

Andy (Managing Editor): Wisconsin has one of the easier schedules in the Big Ten and that bodes well for a team that will need some time to work out any kinks in the system. However, this team is loaded with senior talent and is deep with experience, especially along the defensive front seven. It's hard to imagine Wisconsin not being a 9-10 win team at a minimum with the schedule and talent on this team. What may end up costing them a chance at the Big Ten title for the first time in the Championship game era is a Sept. 28th road date to Columbus against the fighting Urban Meyer's. That could be the Badgers only loss, but I could also see them dropping a few to pesky foes like Arizona State or Northwestern, so I'll hedge my bets a bit and say they drop one of those two (likely to ASU - we all know traveling to Pac-12 territory sucks).
Prediction: 10-2 (7-1) - 2nd in Leaders Division

Will (MSU staff contributor): Wisconsin has one of the hardest Non-Conference schedules in the B1G, which we ranked 2nd only behind Purdue. On the other hand, the Badgers have the easiest B1G schedule in the entire league ranking 12th toughest. Knowing all of that, Wisconsin returns quite a few key offensive and defensive players including consistent wide receiver Jared Abbrederis. I think they end up losing one non-conference game as well as a B1G game, while finishing 2nd in the Leaders Division.
Prediction: 10-2 (7-1) - 2nd in Leaders Division

Tim (PSU staff contributor): A new coach and an uncertain quarterback situation will limit Wisconsin's success in 2013. They have a talented roster outside of the QB and will still be able to control the run game. But, they will have to contend with a difficult rotation of Ohio State and Penn State in their own division and an improved Northwestern team outside their division. I think a 9-3 record is possible and I'm not sure that's enough to get them to Indianapolis.
Prediction: 9-3 (6-2) - 2nd in Leaders Division

Cole (contributor): 11-1 (7-1) - 2nd in Leaders Division

Nate (Editor Emeritus): 9-3 (6-2) - 2nd in Leaders Division
