via YouTube Scene:  Tuesday night Mid-American Conference football between Ohio University and the University at Buffalo.  Ohio quarterback Tyler Tettleton (former MLBer Mickey’s son) was running for his life against UB’s pass rush.  At the four-yard line, Tettleton chucked his livelihood and the football toward the sideline.  At the four-yard line, I said.  Let me repeat, at the four-yard line. Watch at the video progresses.  UB stud linebacker Khalil Mack gets his hands on Tettleton after the ball was out of his hand.  Long after the ball was out of his hand.  Tettleton and Mack both hit the turf in the end zone. Watch more as the video progresses.  You will see the referee drop his flag in the endzone.  He called a safety. There was no offensive player tackled in the end zone.  There was no holding penalty in the end zone.  The referee incorrectly and unfathomably called intentional grounding IN THE END ZONE. Yeah, no.  Sorry stripes, that was one of the worst calls in football history. In the end, the call did not matter as Buffalo thumped Ohio 30-3. This is just irresponsible refereeing at its finest.
