As previously reported, Alabama ornerback Deion Belue, the senior returning starter, continues to be limited as he rehabilitates his hamstring issue. There are a couple of others nursing injuries as the Crimson Tide approaches Saturday's scrimmage.
Alabama scored six offensive touchdowns in the 49-0 shutout of Western Carolina on Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Cornerback Deion Belue retrieved a backwards pass ruled a fumble and carried the ball for a 57-yard touchdown to widen the gap to 42-0 right before halftime. The second quarter score was the third non-offensive touchdown of the year and first fumble return for six points.
