Cal player hospitalized after collision

California safety Avery Sebastian has been taken to the hospital after a hard collision during a scrimmage at Memorial Stadium appeared to leave him immobilized. Team spokesman Herb Benenson said Monday night that Sebastian was transported by ambulance to Highland General Hospital in Oakland. The school had no immediate update on Sebastian's condition.
