Ryan Griffin passed for three touchdowns, all in the first half, as Tulane defeated Southeastern Louisiana 47-33 Saturday in the opener for both teams.

Tulane switching to redshirt freshman at QB

Tulane coach Bob Toledo says redshirt freshman Ryan Griffin will replace sophomore Joe Kemp at quarterback for Saturday's game at Southern Miss.

Andre Anderson rushed for four touchdowns and Tulane beat McNeese State 42-32 on Saturday.Anderson carried 28 times for 199 yards and scored on runs of 2, 11, 63 and 2 yards for the Green Wave (1-2). Joe Kemp was 10-for-13 passing for 222 yards and two touchdowns. Kemp connected with Jeremy Williams for touchdown passes of 34 and 40 yards. Williams had 10 catches for 222 yards.
