2012 NFL Draft: Chiefs Select Dontari Poe
With the 11th overall pick the Kanas City Chiefs select DT Dontari Poe of Memphis. This is a special pick for me as a close friend is friends with the Poe family. Poe is a physical speciaman for sure but he did not play in a top college conference. Can he step up to play at the NFL level is in question.
Poe does get the best bling award for his watch.
Check out his highlights.

2012 NFL draft: Dontari Poe NT Memphis
6'5 and 350 lbs is nothing to mess around with. Dontari Poe is one large prospect out of Conference USA and could be the top defensive tackle taken in the 2012 NFL draft.
While Poe might not be able to play every down his ability to power through double teams and strength to bring down backs with one arm could be a strong necessity for NFL teams.

DT Dontari Poe impresses at Combine with bench press, 40-yard dash
The talk of the NFL Combine Monday was Memphis defensive tackle Dontari Poe.
Poe pumped 44 reps on the bench press Sunday, making him the strongest guy at the Combine. Then he wowed folks with a 4.87 unofficial 40-yard dash time. Poe’s 40 time was officially a 4.98, but for 6’5″ 350-pound defensive tackle, that’s still extremely impressive.
Consider that...
