Jabar Westerman 2nd pick overall to BC
The BC Lions Wally Buono got his man today in the 2012 CFL Draft. The Lions traded up to acquire the second overall pick from the Edmonton Eskimos, and selected Defensive lineman Jabar Westerman.
The Eskimos get BC’s fourth, 14th and 38th selections. The Lions will also acquire the 20th overall pick.
Westerman from Brampton Ontario had a standout career playing NCAA football...

Eastern Michigan gets new snazzy Adidas football uniforms for 2012
Eastern Michigan’s football program has a new tagline: Eastern Michigan University, the Oregon of the midwest. Somehow some way, someone at Adidas thought it would be a nifty idea to spruce up Ypsilanti, Michigan this fall. The results: the EMU Eagles will have the opportunity to sport 12 different uniforms for the upcoming 2012 season.
