A sneak peek of Kate Upton’s much ballyhooed Super Bowl commercial for Mercedes Benz was uploaded to the interwebs on Monday, so what kind of pandering provocateur would I be if I didn’t pass it along to you, my dear readers? Not a very good panderer, that’s for sure. In the spot, Kate Upton appears in a scene where a brand-new Mercedes-Benz CLA is getting washed, but it does not follow the story arc one would have assumed in an ad involving a car getting soaped up and scrubbed and the presence of Kate Upton. At the same time, Kate Upton is in the commercial so it can’t be half-bad. See for yourself. Not too shabby. The 90-second spot is billed as a teaser of sorts for the commercial that will debut during the broadcast of Super XLVII on Feb. 3 that will also feature Usher, stills of which have been leaked over the past few months, but who really cares about Usher’s presence, right? Don’t get me wrong, Usher is great and all or whatever, but Kate Upton Kate Upton Kate Upton Kate Upton, am I right? And here I was planning on dropping the vast amounts of cash burning a hole in my pocket on a brand new BMW. Then this ad comes along. Well done, Mercedes.
