The Other Paper:
New York City mayor Bill de Blasio humbly warbled Randy Newman's "I Love L.A." on the late-night talk show "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Monday night — settling a bet with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti after the Rangers lost to the Kings in the NHL finals."He lost the bet, and now he's going to pay," Kimmel said before de Blasio's performance.De Blasio wore an "I love LA" T-shirt for his appearance and sang alongside 10 children from the 52nd Street Project arts program, broadcast live to Kimmel and Garcetti in Los Angeles via satellite from Times Square."Jimmy, I always wanted to meet you, but not like this, man," de Blasio said, later joking that he was in a "hostage situation." "We in New York honor our bets, but I don't have that great a singing voice."The mayor and the kids conveniently skipped the verse that criticized New York City as cold and damp."Mayor de Blasio, you look like a counselor at the worst camp ever," Kimmel joked. But real New York fans know De Blasio is a Massachusetts native, who was raised as a fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.
BEST OF MAXIM
In Jimmy Kimmel’s newest YouTube Challenge he instructed his viewers to pounce on dear old dad. In the challenge titled “I Hopped On Pop,” people were told to sneak up on their sleeping dad, flip on the lights, scream “Hop on pop!” and then leap on them. There is going to be a lot of swollen testicles by the time this prank is over.

It’s that time of year again where NBA players are forced to read mean tweets about themselves on Jimmy Kimmel Live and there are some pretty hilarious ones this time around.
So, watch as Amare Stoudemire, Chris Paul, Michael Carter-Williams and a host of others read mean things about themselves written to them by random strangers:
I’m still not sure if that Dikembe Mutombo...
Why didn't we think of that?
Hours after celebrating the LA Kings Stanley Cup Championship with the parade and rally in downtown Los Angeles, Alec Martinez (who scored the Game 5 winner in double OT) and Conn Smyte winner Justin Williams paid a visit to Jimmy Kimmel on Monday night.
Needless to say, they put the Cup to very good use, turning it into a giant margarita bowl.
A few years ago Jimmy Kimmel played a prank on Metta World Peace that went so well that he decided to do it again. This time around he enlisted the help of MWP’s former teammate on the Knicks Amare Stoudemire and Jimmy’s cousin Sal in disguise to annoy the hell outta the Artest formerly known as Ron.

While sticking around in Boston for most of the current off-season, Rajon Rondo has been busy at the C’s practice facility. He’s been working out on his own as well as checking out all of the pre-draft prospect workouts. What else has been Rondo been up to? Apparently making cameo appearances on Jimmy Kimmel’s show, along with Bill Simmons and Jalen Rose. Rondo calls...
Shortly after entering Tuesday’s game as a substitute, Marouane Fellaini managed to tie the game in the 70th minute with a brilliant header that snuck just under the crossbar.

It’s fair to say that the mayors of the two largest cities in the United States have lost their minds.
Right after Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti raised a bottle of beer and cursed at the Los Angeles Kings parade, New York mayor Bill de Blasio fulfilled the Stanley Cup bet he lost to Garcetti by singing “I Love L.A.” on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Had the New York Rangers won, Garcetti...
TV After the New York Rangers lost to the Los Angeles Kings, the NYC mayor had to pony up to L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti.
Jimmy Kimmel employed his cousin Sal to prank Metta World Peace with the help of Amar’e Stoudemire. It’s pretty funny, but one must always wonder if it’s fake. Like would Metta really call 911 because a limo driver missed a stop? Doubtful. The great prank would have been to tell the always injured Amar’e that his contract wasn’t guaranteed.

The whole skit isn't really funny to me, but our own Rajon Rondo is in it, so here it is for your viewing pleasure. Rondo comes on at the 2:12 mark if you get bored of the skit or want to see Rondo right meow.
Metta World Peace has provided us with some hilarious moments with his outlandish antics over the years. His buddy and former teammate Amar’e Stoudemire got in on the fun and pranked World Peace this time around, however.

People will tweet anything at you to get your attention. Especially when they know they can remain anonymous behind their screen name. One of my favorite segments on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” is when he has NBA players come on and read mean Tweets about them.
In this addition, Steph Curry is told his facial hairs are “pubey,” DeMarcus Cousins is called an emotional lesbian...
