In the second of this series, I review the Dodgers' starting rotation. It was projected to be one of the best in the National League pre-season and thanks to Clayton Kershaw, it was. However, Chad Billingsley's short-comings are worrisome and disappointing.RotationLHP Clayton Kershaw21-5, 2.28 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, 6.7 H/9, 0.6 HR/9, 2.1 BB/9, 9.6 K/9, 4.59 K/BB, 163 ERA+- Kershaw was flat-out dominant this season. He led the Majors in ERA and the NL in strikeouts, WHIP and H/9. He also tied for the league lead in wins and became the first Dodger pitcher to win 20 games since Ramon Martinez did in 1990.
