Hechavarria made a great first impression in Las Vegas last August but he didn't follow up that up in the fall where his performance was weak. Hechavarria battled some leg problems in the AFL which may or may not have impacted his hitting. 2012 is a big year for Hechavarria to show he can be an offensive threat in the major leagues.Jon Diaz was recently in Toronto as part of the players of the future camp. The Great Big 2012 Blue Jays Forecast Series, Part 3: Kelly Johnson
With spring training officially just under a month away, I thought now would be a good time to start a series of projections on what the 2012 Toronto Blue Jays might look like. Each day (don’t hold me to this), I will profile a 2012 Blue Jays starter, closing with a set of numbers based on my (usually positive) expectations. Today, we continue moving around the diamond with a look...

Jays’ Off-Season Shopping Wraps with Vintage Buys
As if managing the day-to-day operations of a baseball club and facing questions about his (lack of) off-season activity aren’t stressful enough, Jays GM Alex Anthopoulos is growing self-conscious about his age as he approaches the big 3-5 this year.
Okay, I don’t know that to be true whatsoever, but how else do you explain the sudden stockpiling of greybeards to fill...

Ricky Romero’s GF
Ricky Romero of the Toronto Blue Jays seemingly lives a very good life. Romero’s father entered the country illegally from Mexico about the same time that Mexican pitching great Fernando Valenzuela was taking Los Angeles by storm. The elder Romero settled in East Los Angeles and worked numerous jobs to give his children a better life.
Today, son Ricky is the ace of the...
