It’s prospect season again. I’ve had my rankings listed on team pages, but have been horrible about keeping those up to date. As I mentioned on the pages, I’m looking at other rankings when I make mine (along with scouting reports and my own opinion). The Atlanta Braves are next. For the top 20, I’ve listed them according to my ranking. I’ve also listed the rankings of other sites that have Top XX lists (they range from 5 until 40, depending on the site) (I removed this, as I’m trying to get the lists done by the end of spring training). Then the average rankings is of all of the rankings (mine and the ones formerly listed); the rank follows the average. Top 20 Prospects 1. Julio Teheran, RHP Average Ranking: 1.00 (1st) 2. Randall Delgado, RHP Average Ranking: 2.55 (3rd) 3. Arodys Vizcaino, RHP Average Ranking: 2.45 (2nd) 4. Christian Bethancourt, C Average Ranking: 6.40 (6th) 5. Andrelton Simmons, SS Average Ranking: 5.00 (5th) 6. Tyler Pastornicky, SS Average Ranking: 6.80 (8th)...

Minor pitches three scoreless in Braves' 2-1 loss

The Atlanta Braves have started off their exhibition season horribly, and manager Fredi Gonzalez isn't liking it. On Thursday, even Mike Minor's three scoreless innings didn't help the mood of the second-year Atlanta manager who's trying to live down last September's collapse that cost the Braves a playoff spot. Atlanta lost to the Baltimore Orioles 2-1, and...

2012 Fantasy Baseball Peckin' Order: Five Outfielders to target In 2012

Jason Heyward (credits below) The outfield position is deep all the way across the field. Each team has at least 3 starters not including ringers and possible designated hitters with eligibility. Because of the vast amount of players to fill these positions there are plenty of players to go around. For years these players were known as the guys you can count on to get you stolen...
