According to a report from Bruce Levine, the Cubs are trying to lock-up John Grabow to a multi-year contract before the lefty reliever hits free agency. The Cubs and Grabow's agent, Paul Kinzer, are discussing a two-year deal worth between $6.5 million and $7.5 million ... that could include incentives based on games finished. Grabow would like a third-year vesting option added to the deal.

As we know, there's talk that if the Cubs can move Milton Bradley, they'd put Kosuke Fukudome back to right field and try and improve the outfield defense with a more true center fielder.
