If I told you one of TBS' studio crew farted live on the air, then proudly admitted it to his viewing audience, would it have taken you long to guess which one? Reader Dave was sharp enough to spot this, sad enough to be watching TBS's studio coverage, and bored enough to rip it for your viewing pleasure. That is, if you consider a slob of a man busting ass "pleasure." Lord knows I do. (The good stuff starts at the 0:15 mark.) The blame's actually got to go with Ernie Johnson here. Farting on air happens, and if everyone just lets it go, we'll all assume we misheard. But when Ernie calls David Wells on what sounded like air escaping from a balloon, he was forced to come back with the immortal "I just farted."

Post-NLCS Game 3 Thread: Dodgers Lose a Squeaker

After layoff, Kuroda melts down vs. Phillies

Hiroki Kuroda’s first start of the postseason for Los Angeles was a bitterly brief one. Two singles, a double, a triple, a home run. Philadelphia hit for the team cycle only eight batters into Game 3 of the NL championships series, battering Kuroda on Sunday night and sending him to the dugout after only recording four outs.

Joe Lemire: Will Dodgers' Kuroda be rested or rusty in Game 3 of NLCS?

Hiroki Kuroda, the Dodgers' Game 3 starter, hasn't pitched since Sept. 28. Will he be rested or rusty? To beat the Phillies, Kuroda has to avoid his biggest problem, says Joe Lemire.

Phillies 11 – Dodgers 0: First, we must admit we didn’t watch more than seven total pitches in this game.  The Bears were on.  Glad we didn’t because this was a snoozer.  How did Joe Torre start Hiroki Kuroda in this one?  He didn’t make it out of the second inning.  Every Phillies starter had [...]
