The Houston Astros-San Diego Padres this afternoon was delayed by a swarm of nasty, man-eating bees.
According to a Padres’ representative, there were no less than 2,000 bees swarming around or inside the jacket pictured here. The jacket apparently belongs to a bal girl stationed down the left field line.
Why the bees collected there is not known at this time, but I’m guessing it had something to do with the cheap perfume her boyfriend bought her for their 3 week anniversary.
The players were taken off the field and the stands in the area were been cleared while the situation was handled.
A beekeeper arrived at the park to a raucous ovation from fans watching from a safe distance...
