Matt Stairs seems to be Jonathan Broxton's kryptonite. Down to their final three outs heading into the bottom half of the ninth, the Phillies chances looked bleak. Broxton got Ibanez to ground out but then quickly walked Matt Stars and hit Carlos Ruiz. This team, never one to give up, had a fightin' chance in the bottom of the ninth with two on but Greg Dobbs lined out to put the game in the hands of Jimmy Rollins.

Rollins stepped up to the plate with two on, two down, with Jonathan Broxton repeatedly hitting 98-99 on the radar gun. Jimmy put great wood on the ball and placed it perfectly in the right centerfield alley. Bruntlett scored easily and Chooch was truckin around third... no throw!

And Citizens Bank Park went crazy!

"He can handle the moment. The bigger the stage the better he plays," Charlie Manuel said of Jimmy after the game.

Epic.

Young James was the hero tonight and the Phillies take a commanding 3-1 lead in the 2009 NLCS. Guess which blogger may just have tickets to the potentially National League clinching game on Wednesday?

What a team. So be honest, who else was jumping up and down in their living room?

Also: Never, ever out of it
