The Mets have placed rookie Carlos Gomez on the fifteen day disabled list with a fractured bone in his left hand. Gomez will require surgery and be out of at least six weeks. It was understandable when Omar was happy using Gomez daily (and he was finally starting to respond), but it's become a different situation. Moises or Omar; it's time to step up.
