This is unbelievable. If you're Lastings Milledge, wouldn't you just lay low for a while? It's become painfully obvious that this guy has no future with the Mets...the only question now is how much value does he have. I was hoping for a Milledge and Pelfrey for Zambrano type deal, but now I don't know if that would even be enough to get Big-Z.

Mets' outfielder Lastings Milledge sure is making the most of his time on the DL. Milledge, currently out with a sprained foot ligament, recently popped up in the news for his appearance on a profanity-laced rap track, aptly titled 'Bend Ya Knees'.
Mets Steroid-Link Won't Go Away
Even excluding the Radomski scandal, the Mets are looking silly lately with this steroid stuff. I'm increasingly curious to see how easily Mota is integrated back into the club. I know the players will welcome him back, but I wonder if the fans are becoming increasingly fed-up.

Zambrano Holds Flushing Audition
It's tough to see the Cubs letting Zambrano walk, but then again, who knows if they'll even be able to fit him in the payroll. The Mets rotation would look pretty formidable with Big-Z in the mix. At this point however, I don't think Milledge and Pelfrey is enough to get a deal done. The Cubs will want Martinez rather than Milledge most likely, and may demand another...
