Eli's MLB Rumors:
In order to make room for prospects Matt Antonelli and Wade LeBlanc, the Padres released Tadahito Iguchi and pitcher Brett Tomko. This move allows Antonelli and LeBlanc to have significant playing time in the final month of the season. In twenty-two games this season, Tomko was 2-7 with a 6.30 ERA while Iguchi hit .231 in eighty-one games.
