DODGERS 9, GIANTS 1 The Giants wore their "Gigantes" uniforms tonight, but no amount of Spanish Castle Magic could add fire to their bats. Vicente Padilla pitched six innings, allowing only an unearned run on his third-inning throwing error (nullifying his bases-loaded RBI single in the second). The Dodgers actually had a second consecutive strong offensive night, the main blow being Russell Martin's three-run bomb in the fourth. Matt Kemp and Rafael Furcal each had RBI-doubles and Manny Ramirez scored on that dependable triple-wild pitch combination. Hong-Chih Kuo, Ronald Belisario and James McDonald each pitched a scoreless inning in relief, and James Loney added a two-run jack — his 12th home run, all on the road — in the ninth as the cherry on top. Dodgers now have outscored the Giants 19-4 in two games. Save some for tomorrow, boys!
