"The Secret Past of Miguel Tejada": Who F-in Cares?

IDK, I think it's pretty important that teams especially know how old Tejada is.

If I'm paying a player millions of dollars you better believe I want to know what age he is. It might not be a big deal at twenty two and twenty four but when you start hitting your mid thirties you're definitely on the down side of your career and every year counts.

Wait, so the whole deal about his name being different was one letter? That's disappointing. I thought he just made up a completely different name. Now it's not exciting at all, not that it was in the first place.

This whole thing os only a story because ESPN actually did some investigative journalism and it's Miguel Tejada. The Orioles and Astros are not the first nor will they be the last teams to make huge monetary commitments to players who are not what they seem. If ESPN did some real work how many other players would they find have done the same thing to get a contract or to just get their shot. I know if I lived in a country like the Dominican Republic and was told I had a better shot to escape poverty and violence if I lied about my age; hell yes I'd do it, it might be my one and only shot to get out.

Who cares, people lie about their age all the time!
