New York Mets star 3B David Wright is recovering nicely and should return from the disabled list as soon as he's eligible, reports the Newark Star-Ledger.   Wright was hit in the head with a Matt Cain fastball last weekend and has not played since. The all-star is hitting .324 with a .414 on-base percentage and 24 stolen bases in 115 games this season, and he's eligible to return on September 1.
