Major League Baseball has been publicly quiet regarding the stadium saga between the team and the city of St. Petersburg. Commissioner Bud Selig says the issue must be resolved but aside from that, nothing further has been said. Until Saturday morning.  Via Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times, MLB union chief Michael Weiner said that the league has wondered what it would be like with the stadium beyond Tampa. Re #Rays, union chief Weiner says there is a curiosity to see what would/could happen w/ stadium on other side of Tampa, closer to Orlando — Marc Topkin (@TBTimes_Rays) March 2, 2013   Clearly there has been some discussions or thoughts regarding a new stadium for the Rays within league circles. And by the looks of things, ideas have been thrown around about a possible relocation just down I-4. Let’s say that were to happen. Would third baseman Evan Longoria be the face of the Kissimmee/Lake Buena Vista/Orlando Sorcerers? Would the picture below be the team’s new ball caps? ...
