Pirates SS Konnor Griffin headed to IL with torn finger tendon

Pittsburgh Pirates rookie shortstop Konnor Griffin is scheduled to be placed on the injured list Tuesday with a torn tendon in his left hand. Griffin, 20, had just returned last week from a stint on the injured list because of a right elbow strain.
