I mainly saw the end of Wednesday's 6-3 Halos win (resulting in a career-high 15 wins for starter Jered Weaver), and missed this one because of a prior commitment at the Hollywood Bowl. (Despite my Facebook status change, the Berlioz requiem wasn't a lost work; Helen was probably thinking of something else.) But just my luck: Lackey pitches another complete game shutout and I'm not there to see it. I'll get the kvetching about his next start out of the way now, and hope he just makes it through five without too much damage. Torii Hunter broke a scoreless tie in the fourth with a two-out, two-run shot against M's starter Ryan Rowland-Smith, and that was all they'd need. Great stuff from the boys, including some excellent defense (Kendry Morales' snare of Ken Griffey, Jr.'s liner in particular). Yahoo box • Angels recap
