Dodger Dugout: I had hoped more bloggers would have their recaps up by now, but it didn't work out that way. Oh well, at least there is one, and it's a good read.

Baseball IQ: This is an old event, but Morgan Ensberg provided solid analysis of what was supposed to happen on that play botched by James Loney against the Yankees.

Dodger Thoughts: Is Matt Kemp the only player to slump? Of course not.
The idea that Kemp has to get better has been hammered home to him in the past month. The baseball community might want to at least give Kemp a chance to see if he has gotten the message.
And if he gets hotter than hot all of a sudden, realize that will stop eventually as well.

Dodger Thoughts: In relation to that, Jon had a great interview with Matt Kemp's agent, Dave Stewart.

Mike Scioscia's Tragic Illness: A breakdown of George Sherrill.

Dodgers Blog: Steve Dilbeck agrees that George Sherrill's time is about up.

FanHouse: A story on Hong Chih Kuo that we've all already heard, but it's nice to see it get national attention.

Baseball Prospectus: This is a great study and a great case for hoping Charlie Haeger pans out.

Nothing absolutely concrete, but it does seem as if pitchers in the days following Tim Wakefield benefit from the fact that his knuckler is confusing to batters.

The Sports Guy: He proves to be a soccer (football) newbie at times, but the fact that's he's even writing about the sport in the first place amazes me.
